Do I need an account?​

No. Joyzr Map has no account system — everything works right after first launch, and your data syncs across devices through your own iCloud.

Where is my data stored?​

In exactly two places: on your device, and in your personal iCloud (CloudKit private database). The developer cannot access your data, and we run no servers of our own. Before deleting the app, make sure iCloud sync is enabled.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?​

Free includes: browsing all 20 public albums, creating 2 albums (50 annotations each), favoriting 2 albums and 50 places, and iCloud sync.

Pro (one-time purchase, equivalent of ¥18 CNY) unlocks: unlimited albums, unlimited annotations, unlimited favorites. Buy once, keep forever.

How do I restore a purchase?​

Profile → Settings → Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple ID to restore Pro on any new device.

I got a new phone — how do I migrate my data?​

Sign in with the same Apple ID, enable iCloud, and open the app. Your albums, annotations, and favorites sync automatically.

Where does the public album data come from? Is it accurate?​

Public albums are compiled from public sources: the national 5A scenic area registry (Ministry of Culture and Tourism), top hospital registries, and OpenStreetMap. The data is for reference only — completeness, accuracy, and timeliness are not guaranteed. Always confirm with official sources before you travel.

Who provides the map?​

The basemap and place search are provided by Apple Maps. Mapping compliance is handled by Apple.

Which devices are supported?​

iPhone running iOS 18 or later. iPad support is planned for a future release.
